The Regional Programme for Africa is a flagship UNDP programme that responds to challenges

facing the African continent and to the priorities and aspirations of Africa as articulated
by the African Union and other regional organs.
How do we monitor and set targets for our program?
The RDP results framework forms the basis of measurement of results and programme
performance,
whilst articulating the strategic direction for RP in the next few years. Baseline values
determined at
the beginning of the year 2022 form the basis for all progress
measurement and RPD targets were set recognizing the global targets and achievements defined
in various international frameworks.
For UNDP, risk is defined as the effect of uncertainty on organizational objectives, which
could be either positive and/or negative. UNDP has a well-developed and robust risk
management policy that is supported by an organisational wide enterprise risk management
system and is undertaking a review of its approach to risk management.
