The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is an instrument to forge an African market for goods and services, foster regulatory coherence and enable institutional cooperation on trade and investment related issues. Through collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat and other regional institutions, UNDP is a leading partner in the implementation of the trade agreement, particularly in supporting the important role of women and youth in realizing the potential of the AfCFTA.
