SECCI aims to address cooperation and coordination approaches to management and utilization of cross-border resources to enhance ecosystem and community resilience as well as create wealth and employment opportunities in the cross-border areas of the three countries (Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia). Cooperation will further facilitate the development of strategies to promote investments, address flood and drought, and prevent conflicts while strengthening the resilience of vulnerable small holder farmers, agro-pastoralists and pastoralists in the trans-boundary areas.
