The implementation of the Regional Programme requires a robust roll out and strengthened oversight of the Regional Programme for Africa Document (RPD) 2022-2025, learning and applying key lessons from implementation of RPD (2017-2021), and contribute to all three outcomes of the RPD. The project is intended to strengthen development effectiveness by enhancing strategic planning, decision making and implementation for the regional programme as a whole and for all other substantive regional projects, by bringing together under one umbrella all the accountability activities required for enhanced management for development results and assigning the requisite resources (financial, human, systems) to achieve them in an effective, efficient and sustainable manner.
